When Wanjiku Njoroge first piloted SolarDry with a small group of farmers outside Nakuru, the goal was simple: stop good grain from spoiling before it could be sold. Six months later, the results speak for themselves. Farmers using SolarDry units report meaningfully less spoilage and steadier income across the season, all without a single kilowatt from the grid. The innovation was validated by The Circle Africa after independent review of its impact data, and is now expanding to two additional counties with support from early funder interest surfaced through the platform.
